Out of Bounds is expanding this year into other theatre spaces in order to fully accommodate all the amazing comedy and groups from out of town.
The following is a list of 3 venues. 2 of them are featured in the festival.
Hideout Theatre
The Hideout Theatre is a two stage venue in the heart of downtown Austin.
With a downstairs black box seating around 90 audience members and an
upstairs stage maxing out at around 60, you can be sure of an intimate theatre
experience. State of the art sound and lighting systems along with a video
projector in each theatre makes these spaces versatile and professional. At
the corner of 7th street and Congress Avenue, Austin's main drag, the theatre
is one block from "6th Street," one of the most famous stretches of bars and
live music in the country.
The Hideout is proud to be Out of Bounds' festival headquarters for the fifth
consecutive year.

Esther's Pool (Home of Esther's Follies)
Within walking distance of The Hideout is Austin's longest standing venue for comedy. It's called Esther's Pool and local comedy legends, Esther's Follies have had a long-running (we're talking like 25 years running) show in the space they call the Pool, a venue they've owned and performed in for quite some time. They have been gracious enough to provide us with space enough to put on a huge show.
OOB will be taking over Esther's for the BIG Sunday Headlining Show.

Putt N Funn Miniature Golf
Just a little jaunt up IH-35 will take you to the sight of this year's miniature golf tournament, Putt N Funn. They've got arcade games galore, pizza, sno-cones, lazer tag, go-karts, and of course, a perilous putt-putt course where our titans of comedy will clash to determine which randomly selected foursome will have the chance to wear the coveted Ridiculous Jacket for one evening of sublime duddery.
