Here's where you'll find all the information you could ever want to know about this year's performers.
And maybe a little more than you wanted to know.
~ SUNDAY ~

In our Sunday 8pm block:
Razowsky and Clifford [Los Angeles, CA]
A two-person improv show that has become one of LA’s must-see performances, David Razowsky and Carrie Clifford relish in the purist form of improv starting with nothing. Well, almost nothing, an audience member decides where to place two chairs for the first scene and they’re off and running. The random placement of those two chairs dictates the entire performance, and becomes the spring board for a variety of characters and relationships.

These improv veterans began their improv training in Chicago performing at Second City, ImprovOlympic and The Annoyance. Razowsky has written and performed in ten Second City Chicago revues, as well as having directed Second City Mainstage’s No, Seriously, We’re All Gonna Die. He is formerly the Artistic Director of Second City, Los Angeles. Razowsky & Clifford perform regularly at IO West in Los Angeles.

Mission IMPROVable [Los Angeles, CA]
Mission IMPROVable is the nation's most touring-est improv group ever! Since 1998, this band of improv agents has been traveling the country spreading it's unique style of improv comedy to everyone they meet. Their roots began in Massachusettes, in 1996 at UMass Amherst. After two years of weekly shows in the Campus Center, the six friends decided it was time to pack up and head out to Chicago-- the World Capital of Improv Comedy. Since then, Mission IMPROVable has grown bigger and stronger. The company has expanded from the original six members to fifteen, and continues to fortify its ranks each year. M.I. has performed at hundreds of colleges across the country, participated in countless improv festivals as both performers & teachers and even crossed the Pacific for several performances in Singapore.

In our Sunday 10pm block:
The Doubtful Guests [Los Angeles, CA]

Four decrepit buffoons, killed in a brothel fire, tortured in hell for over 100 years, damned to an eternity of entertaining, tripping through tales of terror, titillation and tomfoolery. Presented for your amusement. All the while, suspended above belief with only their wits to keep them from certain doom. By the seat of their smarty pants ... if you will ... and you will! For you are their guests...or are they yours?...Well...enough prattling...

The backstory: four decrepit bufoons, living in the underbelly of Jack the Ripper's London, are killed in a brothel fire in 1888. Their damnation is to perform this improvised cabaret. Always aware that what they are doing is a performance, it becomes a show within a show as the players, begrudgingly, take on the roles of that evenings tale of woe. Dark morality plays emerge as tales of cumuppance and revenge are exacted on the stage. All of this delicious darkness is scored by the quartet known as The Penny Dreadful. Accordion, Mandolin, Stand up Bass and a Drumkit expertly plunk out twisted little ditties discovered along the way.

Members of L.A.'s Bang Comedy Theatre, NYC's Gotham Beyond and Burn Manhattan have come together to present a highly theatrical Spontaneous Theatre piece finding inspiration from Edward Gorey, Edgar Allen Poe, The Grand Guignol, commedia del arte' and dash of Clockwork Orange. It’s Improv with a deliciously dark twist.
