Renob Control gives audiences sketch comedy that they cannot, and will not forget. For the past 2 ½ years, Renob Control has delighted audiences with their unique brand of humor, performing in Portland more often than any other sketch troupe.

“Renob Control’s goal is to create live sketch comedy shows that are connected and thematic, with unforgettable sketches that are never predictable,” says Renob producer and head-writer Aaron Ross. “Our accelerated style of comedy leaves no moment unused: from blackouts, to transitions, to audio bits, every piece of the production assists our show as a whole.” Always willing to experiment, Renob has created many hysterical pieces that challenge the sketch norm: using musicals numbers, the avant-garde, foreign languages, miming, & dance to set their original comedy apart. This year’s performance at the OOB! 06 is no different, as they present a variety of sketches based on and/or revolving around pop-songs that resembles a comedic mixtape.



Renob’s current cast is a family affair. Having worked with plenty brilliant Portland performers, Renob has now settled on a cast with two sibling duos, the Ross’s (Aaron & Dani) and the Smith’s (Chad & Brett).
