McNichol & May

McNichol & May are a Chicago-trained duo that also happens to be married. McNichol & May most frequently perform as part of the Austin Improv Collective in Austin, TX. McNichol & May perform theatre-inspired improvisation and sketch and have performed in a smattering of glamourous industrials, voice overs, "straight" plays and corporate functions (ain't too proud to love short form!).

For their Out of Bounds show, M & M are performing basically a two person Armando, nerdily named "Guided By Videos." Using some of their favorite videos from the public domain, they will ask the audience to choose 2-3 at the top of the show. The chosen public domain videos will act as source material (in lieu of the Armando format's normal "monologist" slot) which is deconstructed through a series of derivative scenes and driving common themes.

Sometimes McNichol & May wish they could see more bands, theatre and wean themselves of chips and salsa...
