Hailing from Austin, TX

One year ago, a Hurricane pushed New Orleans-based ColdTowne to Austin, Tx the same week as the Out of the Bounds Improv Festival. They didn't know that, of course, and they also didn't know that one year later they would still be here, firmly planting themselves in the explosive growth of the Austin Improv scene. In the past year they've become regulars on the festival circuit, traveling to the Ha-Ha Food Festival in Tucson, the Dirty South Improv Fest in Chapel Hill, the DC, Phoenix, Chicago, and Toronto Improv Festivals, as well as the Del Close Marathon in New York City.

ColdTowne established their new existence as relentless and adaptable performers, come hell or high water and have busted their backs for the past year to maintain that edge.

ColdTowne has trained with Second City, Improv Olympic, Upright Citizens Brigrade, and the Annoyance Theatre and come from a variety of backgrounds: Absurdist Art, Journalism, Old Money, Hip Hop Music, and Vocal Acrobatics. They also operate their own training center, The ColdTowne Conservatory, here in Austin, and all of the members are broke as fuck. This is what they do.
