Confidence Men: An Improvised David Mamet Play[Austin]
You know what it takes to improvise a David Mamet play? Balls. Brass Balls. It takes brass balls to improvise a David Mamet play. Listen friend, the six intrepid members of Confidence Men have brass balls in spades and they are not afraid to use them to unfold the seedy underbelly of whatever the audience suggests on the spot.
For every show, a new one-act play will be improvised in the style of such great works as Glengarry Glen Ross, Speed-the-Plow and House of Games, with all the rat-a-tat and grift of its actual predecessors.

Start Trekkin'[Austin]
Start Trekkin is an improvised parody of the classic tv show "Star Trek". In the spirit of J.J. Abrams new movie, we will be doing "Start Trekkin: Academy Days", where we will see an adventure of a young crew fresh out of the academy (no Kirk or Spock, but similar archetypes, in the same universe).
Start Trekkin' is a mainstay of the Hideout Theatre in Austin, and has enjoyed a five season run there, developing a loyal fanbase of trekers, trekkies, and people who maybe saw the one with the tribbles in it.
