Chris & Tami[Austin]
Chris Trew and Tami Nelson are nationally touring performers and instructors and are the official improv group of Comedy Central Atom TV regulars Studio8.net. The duo met, trained and began performing together in New Orleans at the Comedy Conservatory. After Hurricane Katrina they relocated to Austin, Texas where improv became life. After attending nearly every comedy festival in North America performing and studying the art form they returned to Austin and opened the ColdTowne Theater. After years of teaching students the basics of improv and winning numerous local awards Chris and Tami have spent 2009 heightening. They now tour regularly and run their own comedy training center, The New Movement - the first venue in Austin completely dedicated to the comedic process. They’ve taken their training and applied their own style to create a completely unique training philosophy, one that focuses all efforts on the beginning of every improv scene. The New Movement also teaches courses in stand-up, professional comedy writing and sketch comedy.

I know what you.re thinking, "Six white guys doing improv comedy, I'm bored already." Well in Dr. God's case you would be wrong. No, Dr. God doesn.t have a crazy form. No, Dr. God doesn't have a wacky video segment. And No, Dr. God doesn't have an audience participation portion of the show.
What Dr. God does do is a 30 minute show of solid long form improv that will make you laugh. If you want to see comedy with no gimmicks, come check out Dr. God.
