Junk[Austin]
Junk is an improv comedy toupe from Austin, Texas that specializes in narrative storytelling with a focus on strong character and relationship, often weaving together multiple story threads over time. Inspired by the teachings of Keith Johnstone, Junk performs formats like "Gorilla Theatre" and "More or Less", and has developed a wealth of other intriguing and original blends of storytelling and singular scene work.

"We witnessed the quartet [...] take an audience suggestion of location - "inside a tornado" - and turn it into a half-hour show that played out in a repeating pattern of interlocking vignettes told from three different perspectives that, eventually, converged to a single resolution. On the Spot[Honolulu]
The improvised-theater troupe known as ON THE SPOT has been performing since 2000. They have performed many different formats based on the genres/styles of theater,such as Musical and Shakespeare but still get their kicks playing short-form improv shows.
On the Spot will improvise an entire live-action 1920's silent movie set in the style of some of the silent movies biggest stars of the day like Charlie Chapman, Buster Keaton, Mary Pickford, and Douglas Faibanks Sr.
Hush captures all the lure and charm of the silent movies era with strong characters, physicality, and musical accompaniment.
