Midnight Society is a monster and ColdTowne Theater is their Frankenstein. After an audition, a long discussion, and probably a coin-toss or two, the theater's instructors took a group of students and turned it into a troupe of improvisors. Midnight Society; however, is not your typical student troupe. Midnight Society is a blind date that worked.

Made up of stand up and sketch comedians, filmmakers, musicians, and writers, Midnight Society was named the Best New Troupe of 2007 by the Austin Improv Collective. The ensemble's past festival experience includes the Del Close Marathon in New York City, the Dirty South Improv Festival in Carrboro, NC, and WaffleFest in Austin.
