Battle of the Sexes Improv Throwdown pits the two genders against each other in a series of scenes and games. Determined once and for all by audience voting, the superior gender will be crowned and there will be no more discussion on which sex is the best. Battle of the Sexes I and II saw local Austin troupe, Girls Girls Girls go up against Available Cupholders, the first edition going to the Girls, the second, to the Cupholders. BOTS III, the rubber match, will end it once and for all!

The original Battle of the Sexes was a nationally televised tennis match between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King held at the Astrodome on September 20, 1973. Riggs was a master showman, sports hustler, and a 1940s tennis star who, for three years, had been the World No. 1. He challenged King to a match after beating another top female tennis player, Margaret Court. King defeated Riggs who cried the whole time 6-4, 6-3, 6-3.
